THIS SEMINAR HAS BEEN CANCELED
June 26, 2009, presented by Paul Bernhardt and Sara Hurley. This seminar provided information about what podcasts are available from SPH and iTunesU in general and how to contribute to SPH's podcast repository. We also discussed ways to incorporate existing podcasts/develop podcasts/incorporate student-produced podcasts into the classroom, as well has how to make choices about incorporating technology into their online and face-to-face classes. Download the powerpoint of the presentation.
April 23, 2009, presented by Bernadette Gloeb. The seminar included a brief overview of the two systems available at the U (WebVista and Moodle) some of their basic characteristics and tools; and showed some best practices from current SPH courses.
February 25, 2009, developed in partnership with the Digital Media Center.
We reviewed the rationale for and steps involved in an integrated, learner-centered course design process. Participants reflected on their own course design process and teaching, beginning to consider ways to improve and capitalize on their strengths as instructors.
The DLG keeps a repository of e-learning resources available.
